    KGK Genix is one of the UK’s most reputable large format print companies with a strong history dating back over 30 years. We are seeking a Pre-Press professional to join our pre-press team and manage the print files through into production.

    Based in our Harlow office, you will join a stable production team of 20 and an overall workforce of 95 highly skilled and dedicated staff who take real pride in their work, whether it’s a complete rebrand, an exhibition stand or retail display window. You will be part of a wider graphics group, consisting of skilled, motivated and friendly staff across 5 locations in London, Hertfordshire and Essex.

    So, what is it that you need in order to make this Pre Press Operative opportunity your reality?

    • Must have excellent understanding of Large Format Print Processes
    • Ability to manage the workloads and tight deadlines
    • Understand the way artwork is made so that problems can be addressed early on in the job process
    • Must be able to work with various graphic design and layout software applications commonly used on Mac
    • Good understanding of digital file formats pdf, tiff, eps, jpegs.
    • Strong color management skills and the ability to work with different digital formats are required
    • Previous experience of working in Pre Press
    • Considerable experience in the graphics industry, Large Format Print would be preferred however we could consider small print, POS or similar
    • Excellent understanding of Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign
    • Ability to work to strict deadlines in a pressurised environment
    • Confident and positive attitude
    • Flexible attitude to overtime

    • A very competitive basic salary (£20,000 – £28,000 DOE)
