Exhibitions are important events in any company’s calendar. Attracting thousands of visitors on a daily basis, they’re the perfect place for launching new products, making new contacts and gaining new clients.

That’s why it’s important to make your investment in your attendance count, especially when it comes to the larger events where it’s so easy to get lost in the sea of uniform organiser-provided stands.

By investing more in your company’s stand, you are more likely to – pardon the pun – stand out. Large format pictures and creative stand design will help attract the attention of visitors, making it more likely that they’ll get closer in order to find out more. If they’re interested enough to approach your staff, you’re more likely to make meaningful contact with them, which is therefore more likely to end in a sale.

We are happy to work either through specialist stand design companies or with clients directly, and we have produced graphics and installed stands at the Cannes Film Festival, Farnborough International Airshow, Paris Air Show and Autosport International. The air shows are great fun because they act more as a showroom for aircraft than a business networking location.

Creative work

The majority of our exhibition work is for stands of different shapes and sizes, but we have also worked on experiential displays (including one for the Making of Harry Potter –  Warner Bros. Studio Tour London). However, the most impressive was a creation for Bombardier Business Aircraft by 3D designer Michael Murphy, who needed precision cut shapes which hung from the ceiling. From one side they showed the image of an aircraft, and from the other, the Bombardier name. It was absolutely amazing and so clever! It was a real privilege to have been involved.

We also work with TV and film companies on set design. For the film Shakespeare in Love, we printed the flooring to make it look like they were walking on a wooden floor or were in a piazza. We also print flooring for theatre and ballet productions – we are particularly proud of a floor we created for a production of the Nutcracker Suite that made it look like the performers were dancing on clouds.

Another way to give your exhibition stand a wow factor is to have a carpet printed with your logo, a photo of your product or any other graphic. It’s a great talking point, and if you want visitors to feel like your VIPs, it’s a great substitute for a red carpet and will guide them to wherever you want them to be.

Double-decker stands

Most exhibition spaces have high ceilings, so rather than spend money on renting more floor space, why not make your stand a double-decker one? It not only gives you more space to entertain visitors in, it also gives you a chance to display graphics that are twice as large as anyone else’s!
