We’re totally on the same page as Sir David Attenborough, when he said, “The future of humanity and indeed all life on earth, now depends on us.” That’s why, we’ve been working really hard behind the scenes to measure our emissions and offset our carbon footprint.
We’re committed to being carbon neutral in all production facilities and offices and working with environmental specialist organisation, Carbon Footprint to appraise our emissions and offset them.
We have made significant changes in our office and machinery areas by changing lights to LED panels along with using LED curing, water-based inks in our print processes, upgrading company cars to complete electric models and reducing our movements between premises.
We were assessed from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 and as a result planted 138 trees to offset 138 tonnes of CO2e.
Here’s what was included in the assessment: Building energy, company cars, van travel, commuting, public transport and home-working.
Whilst on our journey to become more sustainable, we’ve also developed a range of eco and/or recyclable alternatives for all of our most commonly used materials.
Our overall aim is to have a number of ‘green’ alternatives for every single material that we currently offer. Just another step towards a much greener future for our industry.
