Project management is an essential process that ensures the successful completion of projects, within our organisation. The Account Management team liaise with Project Managers and clients. This is to ensure processes run smoothly, and projects are delivered on time, contributing to overall efficiency and success.
The team, comprising Senior Project Managers, Junior Project Managers, and Project Administrators, plays a vital role in: coordinating resources, managing risks, and communicating with Account Managers, to execute projects effectively. Utilising tools like our MIS and collaborative platforms, we ensure seamless transfer of client briefs, job bag creation, and discussion of project requirements.
An Account Director’s role:
“As Account Director, I’m responsible for overseeing my team’s performance and activities, ensuring we achieve our team targets and goals. I’ll set a strategy for my team, that then filters down to the Project Management teams.”
Enabling collaboration among team members is crucial, during the project management phase. We use various techniques, such as: regular meetings, project planning, stakeholder engagement, and performance monitoring, to foster teamwork. We use project management software and cloud documents to facilitate internal and external communication, streamlining processes throughout production.
Client interaction is paramount throughout the project lifecycle. Depending on project size, we hold regular Teams meetings and calls with clients, providing accurate quotes and transparent communication, to avoid any surprises. Ongoing communication via emails and calls, ensures that client expectations are consistently met and managed, throughout the process.
Monitoring a projects progress and ensuring timelines are met, is essential. We provide Gantt charts, that break down each step of the production process, allowing clients to benchmark our performance and ensuring timely delivery. In the face of unforeseen challenges or changes in project scope, effective communication with clients remains key, enabling us to adapt and overcome obstacles while maintaining our commitment to delivering on time.
As we continue being transparent and showing our company processes, we emphasise the importance of effective project management in driving successful outcomes for our clients.
