Winner of the Student Retail Design and Careers Competition

17/07/24

On the 29th of April 2024, students from Hertford Regional College completed their window designs for the Student Retail Design & Careers Competition 2024.

Over 3 months, students participated in a comprehensive program working on a live creative brief, from concept to installation, with direct exposure to the renowned brand, Superdry. The project provided them with an immersive and hands-on experience in the design, production, and installation of a live window display.

This program is designed to provide students with the essential skills and experience to launch their careers while observing our teams’ work in the production unit.

This year, the challenge was to design and implement a creative window display, on brand, with a focus on Superdry’s sustainable credentials.

After extensive research, design development, technical planning, and creation of print elements, students brought their campaigns to life in their mock-shop windows. They then presented their final displays to a panel of judges.
