Natural History Museum

Sustainable Christmas shop displays

The brief

The Natural History Museum asked us to dress two of their retail stores with festive, Christmas point of sale and visual merchandising props using sustainable and environmentally friendly print and display solutions from our ECO range.

The work

Using a corrugated cardboard, we created several cut out display elements that were suspended above the retail space, including presents, stars, festive dinosaurs, and recognisable London icons including the Natural History Museum itself and a London bus.

We also produced 3D, freestanding trees in various sizes, to be used as Christmas décor around the shop and to be integrated as part of visual merchandising displays.

Aisle frieze with the clever play on words ‘Gifts you can’t tricera-top’ was added around the store for additional Christmas theatre.

The result

The festive retail display looked fantastic, and everything produced was made from sustainable materials that could be recycled after the holiday period.

The Natural History Museum’s marketing team said, ‘The 3D tree’s look stunning and the whole install looks great.’
